PFLP:s svenska stödtrupper

Den palestinska flygplanskaparen Leila Khaled har bjudits till Sverige för tal och föreläsning i helgen. Det torde dock vara osäkert om hon får inresetillstånd, av en rad anledningar.

Hon har själv begått storskaliga terroristdåd, om än dessa ligger långt bak i tiden. Hennes organisation PFLP är rätteligen terroriststämplad av EU och därmed Sverige. Då Leila Khaled ingår i PFLP:s styrelse/politbyrå är hon vidare direkt ansvarig även för de terrordåd som organisationen stått bakom i modern tid - som exempelvis massakern på den judiska småbarnsfamiljen Fogel härommånaden. Hon anser för övrigt än idag att terrorism är legitimt - vilket inte heller talar till hennes fördel vid en eventuell riskbedömning. 2004 lär hon ha nekats visum, och inte mycket kan ha ändrats sedan dess.

Det kan ändock finnas anledning att fästa ljus på PFLP:s anhängare i Sverige. Som tidigare berörts i bloggen är PFLP och Leila Khaled något av vänsterns drömterrorister. Men även inom palestinska kretsar kan man hitta svenskt stöd för PFLP.

Värst är det i Uppsala, där Palestinska Folkets Förening och dess ledare Fayek Saleh regelbundet hyllar PFLP. På terroristorganisationens sajt återges hälsningar från Uppsala.

Som vid rörelsens 42-årsdag:

"The Union of Palestinian Community Societies and Associations in Sweden issued a statement saluting General Secretary Comrade Ahmad Sa'adat, and the prisoners, martyrs, freedom fighters, leaders, cadres and members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, on the 42nd anniversary of the Front.

The statement praised the history and present of the PFLP, drawing attention to the founding leader Dr. George Habash, the martyr leader Abu Ali Mustafa, and the imprisoned national leader Sa'adat, saying that the Front has always inspired masses, armed with steadfastness, determination and resilience in confronting occupation and oppression.

The union said in its message that the Palestinian masses, in Palestine and in exile, praise the PFLP and its insistence on adhering firmly to Palestinian national constants, particularly its support for Palestinian national unity, the right to return to 1948 occupied Palestine, and Palestinian self-determination and independence.

It said that the anniversary is a landmark occasion in modern Palestinian history, and that the Palestinian communities in Europe are struggling with the solidarity movement in Europe to defend Palestinian prisoners and highlight this issue at all levels, calling for the freedom of Comrade Sa'adat."

Flygplanskaparen Leila Khaled har även deltagit – via telefon – i ett arrangemang i Uppsala.

"Comrade Leila Khaled addresses a memorial held in Sweden for Dr. George Habash

The Association of the Palestinian People in Sweden, in cooperaiton with the Right to Return Committee and various Swedish political parties and progressive organizations, held a memorial service for Al-Hakim, Dr. George Habash, founder of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and the Arab Nationalist Movement, on Friday, February 1, 2008.

Comrade Leila Khaled, member of the Political Bureau of the PFLP, addressed the attendees over the telephone. She stressed on Al-Hakim's understanding and vision of the relationship between the Palestinian national movement and its Arab national dimesnsion and his steadfastness in upholding the Palestinian national constants particularly Al-Hakim's position on the vital nature of upholding national unity.

Comrade Leila Khaled stated that Al-Hakim refused to return to the West Bank and Gaza, because of his commitment to the inevitability of the right of Palestinian refugees to return to Palestine, refusing to go back but with the return of refugees to their land from which they were displaced.

The Association of the Palestinian People in Sweden has been an active for thirty years and has conducted similar memorials for Yasser Arafat, Ahmed Yassin, Haidar Abdel Shafi and other Palestinian leaders and martyrs. The president of the association, Mr. Fayeq Saleh, spoke in the event addressing the importance of upholding the Palestinian martyrs and icons like Al-Hakim."

Vad gäller Palestinska Folkets Förening kan det vara värt att erinra sig att den 2009 även väckte Researchgruppens intresse. Sådant kan nog bara hända när Israelkritik sedan länge gått över i judehat, givet Researchgruppens medlemmars AFA-doftande historiska förflutna. Researchgruppen har ett omfattande bildgalleri från en demonstration i Uppsala.

"Den 10 oktober så arrangerade Palestinska folkets förening i Uppsala en demonstration mot ockupationen av Palestina. Samma dag höll Ahmed Rami en föreläsning under rubriken "Vad är judendomen?". En föreläsning som anordnades av Mohammed Omar och studiegruppen Aguéli, som också kunde ses delta i demonstrationen. Gruppen skrek slagord för både Hamas och Hezbollah."

Palestinska Folkets Förening är också medlem i Uppsala Fredskoalition, som har som idé att bekämpa kriget mot terrorismen. Go figure.
