A ceremony held at the Islamists' center in north Mogadishu where the offer money was directly presented to Sheik Sharif Ahmed, the Islamists executive council leader, was also participated by other dignitaries.
During the presentation, Sheik Sharif sheik Ahmed delivered a speech inciting Somalis living in Europe and North America to take part in the jihad or holy war against Ethiopia.
"Ethiopia wants to live in peace while on the other hand it wants the Somali population to live racial wars", Sheik sharif said, condemning Ethiopia for interrupting the peaceful solution in Somalia.
Ahmed also urged the civilian population to defend their country from the enemy, referring to Ethiopia.
Sheik Fu'ad Mohammed Khalaf, a senior member of the Islamic Courts, has also spoken at the ceremony, urging people to die for their country.
Sheik Khalaf, who was Somali-Sweden citizen and left Sweden, said that he and his family moved from Europe and never proposes to go back, exhorting Somalis living in what he called infidels' territory to move as well and return to their homeland.
